Sea-Dar’s President and Founder, Jean Abouhamad, is a structural engineer and real estate developer who founded the company in 1991 after leaving a successful career with one of Boston’s most respected structural engineering firms.

He brings enormous insight to owners and architects as they wrestle with the many options and considerations that arise throughout a project’s permitting, design, budgeting, and construction.

As President, Jean ensures the project team has all the corporate resources necessary to exceed client expectations throughout all phases of planning and construction.

Vice President/Principal

John oversees the construction of coastal and suburban homes. He brings over 30 years of extensive operations and project execution experience to Sea-Dar.

Vice President - New York

Tim is responsible for all aspects of our New York operations. With overall accountability for the performance of our New York teams, Tim is focused on the delivery of best quality, budget, schedule, and post construction services and is committed to the quality of the Sea-Dar experience with our clients and their design teams.

Tim has over 30 years of experience in the Planning/AE/Construction industry and came to Sea-Dar following 14 years as Managing Director with The I Grace Company where Tim led the luxe residential construction divisions in New York, Greenwich and L.I. Hamptons markets.

Director of Institutional and Commercial Construction

Brian has a broad range of operational and project execution experience. Working on all aspects of client development, preconstruction and construction management for Commercial, Institutional, and Higher-Education clients, Brian is accountable for planning and execution strategies for more complex projects.
With over 20 years of experience, Brian spearheads commercial projects for Sea-Dar.

Joe is a key member of the Executive Team who assists in the development, management, and growth of the core business functions. He is responsible for all accounting functions related to the construction of multiple projects and property sales.

He manages an experienced team of accounting managers, property accountants, and accounts payable and receivable personnel. Joe is also in charge of the company’s HR, Payroll, and IT functions.
