History Redefined

The major elements of the project involved relocating the kitchen from the basement to the first floor without altering the look of the existing wood paneling, expanding the top floor to extend to the back of the building and enclosing the new space in glass, and enlarging the top roof deck.

This project also required surgical precision to install an elevator shaft into the property without disturbing the existing high-end finishes. The result is beautiful! The traditional wood paneling remains a backdrop to the contemporary Bulthaup kitchen cabinetry, and top floor is amazing with a mix of modern design and a Hope window façade.
