Sea-Dar managed this conversion of two Simmons College buildings into 9 condominiums. The project also involved the addition of a new floor and substantial restoration of the brownstone’s façade.
The most challenging aspect of the project was the construction of a new 16 car underground parking garage which required the basement bearing walls be replaced with new foundation columns to allow the cars to circulate. One of the condos became the single most expensive condo in Boston of its time.
