Sea-Dar created this new home within 4 months from concept to occupancy. Working closely with the client’s architect, the 5 stories of living space was redesigned, gutted, and rebuilt with high-end finishes.
The original historic details that remained – marble fireplace surrounds, simple crown mouldings and window casings – were preserved, but clean and contemporary materials were installed in the new kitchen, bathrooms, a media room, and master suite.
The urban setting posed challenges typical of projects in tight settings and required close management of the construction’s impact on the neighborhood.
