Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, MIT Chapter

Built in 1890, the brownstone has been home to the Fraternity’s residents for many decades. The project involved the renovation and restoration of this historic property, upgrade of all mechanical systems, and provision of accessibility for compliance with Massachusetts Architectural Access Board (MAAB) and ADA requirements.  Elevator access between the garden level and 2nd floor rooms was added as well as other safety and finishes updates. Significant to the project was the lowering of the basement floor by 18”.
