A contemporary glass and zinc-clad addition was blended with the historic 1840’s Victorian to create much appreciated space for modern living. The dark, cramped kitchen was expanded and reconfigured with the adjoining family room, and a newly added dining room straddles the inside and outside of the house, with large sliding doors recessed into the floor for a seamless connection to the patio outside. Above, an existing attic space became a creative workspace looking out over newly designed and landscaped gardens and trees.
